IN SPACE… NO ONE CAN HEAR YOU DISCO!
To open Season 12, Nearly Naked Theatre presents the Arizona Premiere of SAUCY JACK & THE SPACE VIXENS, book by Charlotte Mann, lyrics by Charlotte Mann & Michael Fidler and music by Jonathan Croose & Robin Forrest. In a futuristic universe, where everyone is bisexual and Disco has ceased to be merely a musical form and has achieved religious status, danger lurks around every corner of a seedy cabaret (and the audience its patrons) presided over by the alluring and charismatic Saucy Jack. The dreams of the denizens of this cosmic cafe are as dead as the cabaret acts... that are being murdered one by one. Then the Space Vixens, intergalactic super-fashion crime-fighters armed with the Power of Disco, arrive to remind us that if you believe in yourself and say it out loud… it will come true.
